Jars and Boxes

A matter is anything that occupies space and has mass.

Welcome to Jars and Boxes ... obviously they are matter ... they occupy space and has mass. But the definition of matter in the "particulte theory of matter" is very striking, it says that, the definition has to be revised in light of quantum mechanics, where the concept of "having mass", and "occupying space" are not as well defined as in everyday life. A more general view is that bodies are made of several substances, and the properties of matter (including mass and volume) are determined not only by the substances themselves, but by how they interact. In other words, matter is made up of interacting "building blocks",...( thanks to Wikipedia).

SO WHAT'S THE MATTER?

Our thoughts, moments and experiences on our every day life are more like matter, though not a substance themselves, they occupy space (but more of our time) they have mass, according to how we deal with them, whethere they are of value to us that we treasure them and we do not want to forget, or whethere we consider them as ordinary things that come and go. They are interacting "building blocks" of who we are and how we relate to them will determine who we are going to be.

Life is short, let's store each moments, thoughts & experiences in our own life's jars and boxes.
