The Hidden Mickey in Me

As I was on the car going to my dentist's clinic, I was thinking what color would I chose for my next elastic ligatures. Usually as I arrived at her clinic, her assistant would then hand me over a plastic storage box filled with colorful ligatures indivudually packed on a resealable cute little plastics. It's my 14th month with my braces now, once a month I'm scheduled for an adjustments. All these times I had gone through several colors of Power O (elastic liatures), as I call it. As much as possible I try not to go through colors I had before, so I attempted several ways to remember what color I have already used. First I tried to recall each month what color I had the previous month until I lost count of the color, then I tried taking pictures of my guarded teeth, but I'm having a hard time recognizing the color in the pictures (hmp!)

I attended an event during this time, and our group color was green & yellow, so I had it combined.

And listing?.. nope! I haven't tried that one there are so many shades of blue, red, pink, and others that its hard to narratively describe..(one of the reason I lost count of color.. :)Well anyway, so I was getting a little confused on what color will I have this time, so I said to myself "maybe I will have it brown or blue since I will be attending a wedding not many days from now, since that will be the motiff", so why not? I was kinda hoping too, that my dentist have a new shade of brown or blue since I had those colors before. When I finally arrived at the clinic the color delima suddenly flew out of my mind, when I recalled the status of my teeth... Oh no, now I'm certain I would stay quite a few minutes inside the clinic because the last time I checked I have one tube missing (which may be I accidentally swallowed, I'm really not quite sure!), so for sure my dentist have to replace it. That means I will be tasting again that sour/acidic solution used to cement something on my tooth... So after the long wait my most awaited moment has come... time to choose the ligature... just when I about to pick a shade of blue I'm not sure if I had before, my dentist then said.. "Sam, I have some new ligatures, here.." and then before me appeared the cutest little thing my eyes have ever seen... elastic ligatures with mickey mouse's ears! AS IN! In yellow, red, orange, and dark violet. I picked the dark one, I don't quite like the bright ones. Here's what it looks like on my teeth now...

At the end of the day I'm just happy with my teeth and how it is progressing... How it looks before?.. You don't want to see... :) Lesson I learn? You really have no reason to be afraid of the dentist. What they will do to you will be for our own good. It may hurt but it can be fun too... besides they ae just doing their job. :)
